REPORT: Nashville and Its Peers: Policing and Public Safety
The Nashville Police + Public Safety Alliance commissioned an independent report to compare Nashville's crime trends and police resources with those of nine peer cities — places we compete with for residents, jobs, tourism, and talent.
POLL: Public Safety Sentiment Assessment
The 2025 Public Safety Sentiment Assessment was conducted in September by Impact Research, a leading national opinion research firm. The survey included more than 1,000 Nashville adults and was administered in both English and Spanish via phone and text-to-web. The overall margin of error is ±3 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.
The Nashville Public Safety Data Dashboard
Using data from the Metro Nashville Police Department, The Alliance's quarterly-updated dashboard provides the public with crime statistics, long-term trends, and insights into community perceptions of public safety.
